All our Fire Safety courses are designed to help you to comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Changes in fire safety legislation during 2006 have seen the issue of fire certificates cease and places more responsibility on the employer to take fire safety precautions.

Who Should Attend?

Where an employer has carried out a risk assessment and identified a need for a fully qualified Fire Marshal, a person should be nominated for training in accordance with legal requirements.

Course Content

This is a comprehensive practical course for those who have a responsibility for tackling small fires, assisting with staff evacuation and for those who help formulate company fire procedures.

• Fire Prevention
• Principles of Combustion
• Methods of Evacuation
• Human Behaviour in Fire
• Actions on Discovering a Fire
• Workplace Fires

Completion Certificate

On successful completion of the course, the delegate will receive a certificate of attendance. This is valid for three years.

Course Prices

Course cost includes provision of the instructor, all the required fire extinguishers to facilitate the course and a pack (which includes a pad, pen and fire safety booklet) for each delegate.

On-site Training

By selecting on-site training, you can choose the times during which courses are conducted to suit your organisation's requirements. The course can also be delivered over the weekend. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Requirements for On-site Fire Training

• Large enough outside space to do fire training - reasonable distance from buildings/parked cars, flammable materials etc, no over hanging trees or bushes, not obstructing a fire exit from a building.
• Far enough away from a highway that any smoke we generate does not affect passing motorists.
• Training room to facilitate theoretical work.
